If you weren't an artist, what would you have become?

„You'll smile, but I probably would've been a type counselor. Every person has an individual beauty, which he carries out through clothing and appearance. Unfortunately many do not dare to wear bright colours and unusual cuts, although it would make life so much more colourful. As a type consultant there would be no black and white with me!”

How do you get inspired?

„I always have a sketchpad at hand, because most ideas for new designs come from the things I see in everyday life. A special pattern on an old house, a bright colour combination on an advertising poster - my environment is my inexhaustible source of inspiration. I try very consciously to go through life and keep my eyes open for the unusual.”

What makes a wall mirror special?

„Each of us has simple mirrors. The fact that a mirror does not have to be an unadorned useful object, but can represent a stylish decorative object, has only become clear to people in recent years. I like the idea of combining the useful with the artistic and therefore it gives me great pleasure to create an art object from a simple mirror. Looking in the mirror is twice as much fun!”
