How do you get inspired?

„Every time I go looking for motives, I feel like I'm a child again. I am then completely enraptured by everything that glitters and glitters. My apartment would probably look like the nursery of a 12-year-old if I didn't live with my husband. That's why I'm all the more focused on beautiful things outside my own four walls. I am very fond of detail. Since my motifs are all very figurative, I can of course also be very inspired by material things. A stroll through perfumeries and sweet boutiques is perfect for me to recharge my creative batteries.”

What makes a painting special?

„I always imagine someone buying a picture of me and feeling a spell every time I look at it. I think this thought is really great. There has to be an idea behind a painting that the viewer can immediately recognize. Not every painting has to claim to be a masterpiece. It's more about personal meaning. Hanging a small work of art in your apartment is such an easy way to make life more colourful. Isn't that beautiful?”
