If you weren't an artist, what would you have become?

„To be honest, I never thought about that. When you grow up in an environment that is generally very artistic, you somehow slip into it. Provided, of course, that you have the necessary talent. ”

How do you get inspired?

„I only have to walk through certain districts of the city once and I'm bursting with new ideas. Honkong is a vibrant city whose spell is hard to resist. There are many million metropolises in China, but Hong Kong is special, I think. I probably feel that way because I was born here, but only here do I feel this special vibe.”

What makes a painting special?

„My trademark are happy pictures with a lot of color. If I suddenly tried to paint sophisticated portraits in muted tones, it wouldn't be my art and you would see that. So it's important that you stay true to yourself and choose the motifs you really stand for. Only then does a picture radiate something positive and genuine. ”
